Main Focus SDG’s

SDG 3
‘Good health and well-being’: Bioracer contributes to SDG 3 by improving athletes’ health as well as their performance. Examples include cut-resistant fabrics in skating suits and UV protection and abrasion-resistant fabrics in cycling clothing.

SDG 8
‘Fair work and economic growth’: By contributing to a strong economy and fair labor market, we distinguish ourselves as a socially responsible and future-oriented player in the cycling apparel sector.

We invest in production countries; fair wages promote the local economy. We share knowledge and strengthen local employment by adding functions such as design and pattern development at foreign sites.

SDG 9
Industry, innovation, and infrastructure: Bioracer promotes sustainable innovation through ecological production techniques (paper and ink savings), renewable energy, and advanced sportswear development. We invest in automation and ensure healthy, ergonomic working environments.

SDG 12
Responsible consumption and production: Our production facilities are owned by us. We have locations in Romania, North Macedonia, and Colombia. Here, we are in complete control together with the co-owners. We visit the companies on a regular basis. This way, we know that employees are treated and paid correctly and work in proper and safe conditions.
Looking to the future, we are exploring opportunities for circular business models.

SDG 13
Bioracer contributes to climate action through sustainable production processes and mobility. We aim to extend our Pioneer status with VOKA in 2025. We are developing a tool and system to monitor our carbon footprint ourselves on a quarterly basis.

SDG 17
Partnerships are central to our pursuit of impact. For us as a sports brand, collaboration and connection are essential to achieving our mission: We Make You Faster. We have been working with Belgian Cycling since 1994 and with the German Cycling Federation since 2009. We design our suits for Evenepoel and co, but we also believe it is important to share them with those who need them so that everyone (‘on each day, each athlete and every continent’) can enjoy sports. This reflects one of our core values: inclusivity. That is why we work with insert charities among others.
